The amazing Spectrum – featuring not only Sonic Boom but also fellow Spacemen 3 alumnus Will Carruthers on bass – return to Sonic Cathedral for a show at The Shacklewell Arms on August 16. Tickets are going fast.
What’s more, not only are Spacemen 2 (sorry) headlining, but the support line-up includes the wonderful Leeds-based drone-rockers Hookworms, who recently slayed all comers at our Yeti Lane show in Manchester. Opening the night is Prayer Meeting, aka Jamie Putnam, erstwhile Fields guitarist and a man with a very extensive collection of effects pedals. Special guest DJs will be announced nearer the time.
The brilliant poster, which you can see above, has once again been designed by the good people at Heretic who will be selling very large screen prints of it on the night. They’re sure to liven up any flat surface.
We really can’t say it enough – this gig will sell out. Buy tickets in advance to avoid disappointment!
