WARM DIGITS SHOW – SEPTEMBER 14

Another live show coming up: Newcastle/Manchester duo Warm Digits will play The Shacklewell Arms on Friday, September 14 with support from their krautrock comrades Eat Lights; Become Lights. Tickets are onsale now.

Eat Lights; Become Lights are back in London after a sojourn in LA, and this will be one of their first shows with a brand new line-up. Their second album ‘Heavy Electrics’ is out via Rocket Girl on September 3.

Warm Digits blew not only us, but also Andrew Weatherall away with their debut album ‘Keep Warm… With The Warm Digits’, which mixed krautrock with BBC Radiophonic Workshop retro-futurism and a touch of Sabres Of Paradise. It’s a wonderful record and worth checking out, as is their collaboration with Field Music originally recorded for Radio 3′s Late Junction, but now available as a nice-looking 10″ single and download.

Here’s Warm Digits’ recent remix of Yeti Lane’s ‘Warning Sensations’ in all of its New Ordery brilliance:
