Sonic Cathedral is back at The Social in London tonight for a gig which NME described as “well worth your time”, featuring Temples and Charlie Boyer & The Voyeurs, plus Rhys Webb of The Horrors on the decks.
It’s only Temples’ second ever show, but their ’60s psychedelia spiked with hints of early Stone Roses and Coral sounds really promising to these ears. There are a bunch of tracks on their YouTube channel.
And Charlie Boyer returns with his backing band The Voyeurs. They look set to follow the success of their new Heavenly labelmates Toy with their mix of Television and Happy Mondays, so catch them while you can.
Doors are at 7pm. It’s a fiver to get in, but it’s going to be busy so grab one of the £4 advance tickets.
