Sonic Cathedral is a regularly irregular clubnight - and now also a record label - celebrating shoegaze and all its influences and inspirations. This means that, at our club nights, as well as Ride, Slowdive, Chapterhouse and My Bloody Valentine you're just as likely to hear The Velvet Underground, Syd Barrett, Suicide, Neu!, Kraftwerk, Spacemen 3, The Jesus And Mary Chain, Sonic Youth, Dinosaur Jr, Yo La Tengo, Mazzy Star, Cocteau Twins, Spiritualized, Ulrich Schnauss, Secret Machines and M83 to name just a few. We also love psychedelia – from the 13th Floor Elevators via the Paisley Underground scene to The Brian Jonestown Massacre. Oh, and we've got a real soft spot for The Gun Club's underrated 'Mother Juno' LP, produced by Robin Guthrie. You could say that we're a broad church.

To see all of the bands who have played and special guests who have DJed at Sonic Cathedral in the past, check out the flyers and pithy anecdotes in the History section. To see all of the records we have released (and maybe buy some of them), check out the Shop.
