Curve are on the cover of Melody Maker. Toni Halliday says it’s their “dream come true”.
In the interview, Dean Garcia explains their modus operandi: “The music not being cleaned up in any way is among the things that make it special. It has life and movement in each individual part, they play off each other. We just wanted to get away from all that horrible techno ’80s CD music where everything’s in this perfect place, everything’s dead, you push go and it’s all mega but it’s all dead. The way I see Curve is as a combination of opposites all the time, where you don’t know what to expect next. I see us taking it to another level, really exposed, really vulnerable.”
