During my isolation I rediscovered M83’s Hurry Up, We’re Dreaming, an album I haven’t listened to since it was released, pretty much.
This album defined my taste in music during 2011-2012 and one of my fondest concert memories is from when I saw M83 at Kulturbolaget in Malmö in February 2012. I twisted my ankle after only two songs, but it didn’t bother me until I got home because I was so impressed by the show.
The music really cuts into you and makes everything feel so fragile. It’s on the verge of being complete euphoria and utter sadness at the same time. There’s something very liberating about feeling like you’re somewhere in-between.
