bdrmmâs new single âGushâ is out today (August 28) on all digital platforms.
It is one of the highlights of the bandâs debut album, Bedroom, sounding like a cross between The Cureâs Disintegration, The Stone Roses, Ride and DIIV. It is a disarmingly cheery and positive song, despite it having a much deeper and very personal meaning to singer/guitarist Ryan Smith.
âAs much as I would love to share the topic, I feel itâs too much,â he explains. âI shared something very special with somebody, which we lost. It was a very upsetting couple of months, but we got through it. The track is filled with optimism because things do get better, no matter how bad they get. Be there for your loved ones, always.â
To coincide with the single release a new limited-edition red vinyl repress of Bedroom is now available from selected indie shops. Buy a copy here.
