Bid farewell to 2020 with the final Forty Days mix

At the start of the year I began this series of mixes, inspired by a broken hard drive and named Forty Days after the Slowdive song and the fact that I was too lazy to do one a month.

With painful irony, the word quarantine is derived from the ancient Venetian for forty days (because sailors arriving at the Italian port were required to isolate for this period of time to prevent the spread of the plague) and the series ended up being my soundtrack to this strangest of years; it was made up of the music I sought solace in to escape from the relentless misery, the anger and the deaths, so many deaths, of family, of friends and of heroes. This is the last in the series. Fuck 2020.
